Plan ahead. Do a little research to find out what healthy eateries are close to your destination.
Look for accommodations with a small kitchen so you can make some of your own meals.
Watch alcohol consumption. Besides being loaded with empty calories, alcohol also inhibits your ability to resist temptation!
Make sure to include lots of activity on your vacation. From hiking and swimming to hitting the hotel gym or renting a bike, make an effort to get moving every day!
Hold a family meeting before the trip to remind everyone that it isn't a vacation from their well-being! Then get everybody excited about getting moving! Go for it!
