To stave off a late night snack attack, try this move. Sitting up in bed, extend the left leg and bend the right knee. Next, place your right hand at your side for balance and touch your left elbow to the outside of your right knee. Hold for three breathes and switch sides. The twisting motion of this yoga posture, called marichyasana, functions as an internal abdominal massage that triggers the release of appetiite suppressing brain chemicals.
