Directions 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. 2. Brush tortillas lightly with Flavored Oil or olive oil. Stack the tortillas; cut into sixths. Arrange pieces in single layers on baking sheets. Sprinkle the pieces evenly with the salt. 3. Bake in 375 degree F oven for 8 to 10 minutes or just until chips begin to color. Serve with salsa for dipping. Makes 12 servings. Flavored Oil: Heat 1/ 2 cup olive oil in a small skillet over medium heat. Stir in 1/ 4 cup chopped cilantro stems, 2 tablespoons chopped, seeded jalapeżo pepper and 1 teaspoon each ground chili powder and ground cumin. Remove from heat. Cool. Strain through fine-mesh strainer into bowl. Save remaining oil for brushing on tortillas for burritos or enchiladas.
