Good for you!

A loss is a loss is a loss!

And like I've heard Coe say ... slow and steady wins the race!

Congrats!

Thanks!!

I really shouldn't complain...I know when I start working out I tend to not lose or even gain some.  Wil says that I am losing fat, but also building muscle and muscle weighs more.  Sherri, my WW leader, told me last night to do my measurements (which I had done Monday) and said to really watch those more than the scale for a couple weeks.  She said my body will catch up and the weight will start coming back off in a couple weeks.

She also told me that another girl we both know weighs 7 lbs less than Sherri, but Sherri can wear 1 to 2 sizes smaller because she tones.  And I must admit she looks better than the other girl.  So....there's hope!!!!

There's ALWAYS hope!

Keep up the great work and try not to get discouraged. I have watched you and Coe for over a year now, and you have both been such an inspiration to me! You've NEVER given up no matter how much you wanted to (for more than a day or two, anyway )

That's also something I'm going to have to remember to tell LilMs - about the fat vs. muscle weights. She's really been trying to work out (without the big weights -- she's doing floor exercises and treadmill). We don't have a scale, so we'll just have to go off of how we look, feel and how our clothes fit. I never thought about the measurements! I'll have to measure all of us tonight! Thanks for the reminder!

Well, anyway -- I am very proud of you! And see you are MORE than half way to goal!  Keep up the great work!

Love you!

Actually, Wil tells his clients (at least the ones that aren't WW) not to pay attention to the scale that much...esp at first.  He says measurements, the way you feel, and the way your clothes look and feel are important.

I have also tended to not lose too much on inches when losing weight and then when the weight is slow coming off, the inches do and I get into smaller clothes.

Yeah Chelle! Hey...any loss is a good thing and you did it! With your new workout routine you should have an even better loss next week. Keep it up honey...this is a journey not a destination! Love you, Colette
