and I know it's not the same scale. But the scale at the doctor's office read 236 even with my big clunky shoes, and the weight on my weight watchers card is 240 without shoes, or change or cell phone in my pocket.
I remember enough of my high school chemistry that to get true scientific data, the same scale has to be used. I showed the dr my weight watchers card and he checked the medical data on my charts when I went in for a follow up on my ankle, the scale at the dr office had me at 245 so according to my medical chart, I have lost 9 pounds in 3 weeks. in which the dr said that he wishes my mom would do that. We see the same Dr. Mom tips the scale at 700+. she just won't do anything about it.
That is confusing...but my motto is to always love the scale that makes you weight the least...
I think it does have to do with the scale and since you're using the WW scale on a regular basis that is the one you need to consider as your official scale (in my humble opinion). But...it sure makes ya feel good doesn't it?
It might have to do with the time of day you weigh, time of the month and when we're sick we usually end up gaining a bit...so don't worry. It will pan out eventually.
Hope you feel better sweetie! Love, Colette

I don't have a bathroom scale at my house, I use the demo at work for the new digital scales coming out. (Like that is 100% accurate The demo I mean) and when I used it this Morning cause I was trying to kill time before I was off, it said 230.9!
I think my dr's scales weigh heavier, too. I know my home scales do weigh heavier...and weird. I can gain 3 lbs in as many minutes! I need to get a new one...but other things come first.
