Ingredients Cajun Burgers: 1 pound extra lean ground turkey 1 red bell pepper, chopped 1/2 cup frozen corn, defrosted 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 1 tsp minced bottled garlic 4 thin slices light cheddar cheese 4 whole grain hamburger buns, whole grain pita bread or whole grain English muffins Spinach or lettuce leaves and tomatoes for topping Chipotle Sauce: 2 tbsp catsup 1 tbsp non-fat sour cream Tabasco or chipotle sauce to taste
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Instructions Preheat grill (indoor or outdoor grill or frying pan) to medium high. Combine hamburger with red peppers, corn, cayenne and garlic in a medium sized bowl. Form into 4 patties. Combine chipotle sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside. Grill patties 4 minutes on each side or until juices run clear. Remove from heat and top each burger with a thin slice of cheese. Spread hamburger buns with chipotle sauce, top with burger, spinach or lettuce and tomatoes.
