Ya know ... I've been watching ya'lls menus ... I'm not doing WW yet, but I thought maybe if I posted what I actually eat in a day, it might help me to eat better and know where I'm lacking. It only helps to have some one hold you accountable, right.

And then maybe you all could point out where I'm ok or where I could do better!

Ok ... here goes today's ....

Breakfast:
Coffee
(2 cups with 4 tsp. Coffeemate powder creamer, and 4 tsp. sugar per cup! *gulp* I can't believe I just admitted that! But it's the only way I can get DH's STRONG coffee down!)
Total calories in my 2 cups of coffee: 200 (that's assuming there is no calories in the coffee itself!)

Snack 11am:
1 package Apples & Cinnamon oatmeal: 130 cal.
(I added NO sugar! Yea me! Usually I do, and I just found out that I CAN eat it without adding sugar!)
Total calories for snack: 130

Lunch:
Ham on 2 slices GV Split Wheat bread with mayonaisse (not MW) and mustard: 320 cal.
Fritos Chips apx. 32: 160 cal.
1 package Oreo thin crisps: 100 cal.
Total calories for lunch: 580

Snack:
At this point, I'm not sure. I'll edit that in later ...

Dinner:
Not sure - picking up a friend at the airport at 7:20ish, so we may eat out. I'll edit that in later.

Water:    and a 1/2 (20 oz so far)

Well that's a start. Maybe for now, I'll just edit in as I eat. That way I'll see what I'm really doing and not what I want to be doing! Then we can make changes from there!

*edited in my calories ...
  also edited
to add that I didn't realize a few things! I always thought I put a lot of mayonaisse on my sandwiches - today I measured out the 1 TB and spread it on my bread and it was just about the same as I usually put on!!! (Maybe just a smidge less!) Yea me!!!  Also, the serving size of Fritos is what I usually have too - MOST of the time! LOL Not always. Sometimes, during a binge, it's WAAAAY more! LOL

**edited again ... after adding up the calories just through lunch is 910! I'm only supposed to have around 1200 - I guess that leaves me 290 for snack and dinner! Yikes! I guess I'd better watch that coffee in the morning and should have had the Oreo pack for a snack and not at lunch!!!

Cassi..Way to go!!!!  Writing things down is used in many diet plans...ummm excuse me...I mean life changes!

Have you tried the sugar free oatmeals?  They are pretty good and lower in the calories.  I have to add some aritficial sweetner to mine (Splenda, etc).  The artifical sweetner would help with your coffee, too.  I don't think coffee itself has any calories.

Also, check out the light breads.  A lot of times there are 100 cal or less in 2 pieces.

David uses the ff mayo on his sandwiches.

You are really gooing a great job keeping up with your calories.

You might want to check about your total calories.  My dr told me that he doesn't like women to go below 1400 cal except in certain situations.  Like those women (my sister for instance) who are tiny and petite to begin with.  Just a thought.

I am truly proud of you!!!!  You can do this!!!!!   I am so so so so very proud of you!!!!!  Committment is the biggest step!!!!

Hope I have helped some!

Love you!!!!!

I got that 1200 number from your friend, Ms. Denise Austin! LOL  I did her free (not so free - have to sign up for $3 a week to get the bennies ) ... She "said" at my weight and what I want to go to I need to have 1200 calories a day.

Weight now: 165
Weight goal: 135
BMI: 24.4
Calories per day: 1200

I could do some more checking, but I've heard that 1400 is a good maintenance number, but I want to lose some .... ok about 30 pounds! LOL

Thanks for your help.

I have tried that lite bread and LilMs and I do like it. It's just kind of expensive and the GV is what I have on hand right now.  I don't know, honestly, if I could eat the sugar free oatmeal. I can eat the flavored without putting extra sugar in it, but don't know if I could do without it totally! We'll see!

Maybe it'll be ok if I just continue exercising!

I'm almost out of mayo, so I may try to get the FF stuff ... LilMs doesn't use mayo at all! Dry sandwiches and burgers! Yuck! LOL

Sooooooo ..... are ya really proud of me? LOL  How could I not know that! You reiterated that how many times?!?! LOL

Thanks again honey! It's great to have the encouragement and support!

Love you tons and have sure missed you!!! I guess this is the only way to keep up with you and Coe, huh? LOL

Ok....maybe just a little bit proud!!!

I was trying to hit the soupbowl more, but now that students are back at Tech!!!!!    I feel like I have run a marathon today...and haven't got one bit of exercise in!!!!!   My blood sugar had dropped this morning, so I couldn't do my toning stuff then and we haven't had a break where I could go walk!   Maybe tomorrow!!!!

I understand about the money situation and food.  Why the healthy stuff is so much more is beyond me.

Exercising will do a lot for you!  I think that is a lot of my problem.  I have lost most of my without and now I'm not going to do much more until I get my exercise going again.  My problem after I start exercising is that I gain weight.  My "son" the personal trainer says my body just starts turning the fat straight into muscle which weighs more, but you look better.  All fine and good...except WW doesn't see it that way!!!!  He said the weight loss will kick in, too, but I've got to keep at it!  So keep at it girl!!!!

Weight watchers is having no registration fees right now and its 11 dollars a week pay as you go.  It's the best money I have spent on myself and Dh knows I can't try and sneak something in for him or the kids in. Well, I do actually. I cook better meals, I turn the TV off more and we go for walks when the kids get home from school and I interact with the kids more.

LUnch: I forgot to grab it out the door last night, and I thought I had my wallet out in the car and I couldn't find it so I took a nap instead of walking.  sundays are the worst day for me to get sleep in and I was late getting back from lunch. Not that late, 10 minutes. I usually take a 45 minute lunch though instead of a true hour.

Breakfast, I was starving when I got home. so I made my husband get some sausage and ff sour cream when he took the kids to school and made breakfast burritos.

6 inch tortilla, 1 egg scrambled mixed with green pepper, red pepper, 1/4 cup ff sausage (my grocery store does their own ff) 1T of ff sour cream and 2T Pico de Galla (raw chopped onion, tomato and Cillantro)  8 points

Lunch,  Smuckers uncrustable grilled cheese sandwich, 1 oz reduced fat Ruffles, 1 cups of frozen grapes, Diet Dr Pepper 8 points

Dinner, I am trying the  No clean up chicken that is posted in the recipes. I will give my review when I get a chance. 6 points

22 points used, 28 goal,

Snack at work at first break,  (about 11:30 PM)  2 snack packs of honey Grahams thin crips and a cup of skim milk.  6 points,  28 points!
