While I kept up on my walking on my days off, in 101* weather, and no ac to come home too. Yesterday food wise sucked. Today was better with only 15 of 20 points used. I am taking applesauce and sugar free Jello with fruit for my snacks at work, I have my water bottle in the freezer, and for dinner, It's 3oz serving of roast pork, 1/2 cup of baked sweet potato with a spritz of Can't believe it's not butter, 1/2 cup of steamed carrots. Tomorrow is a new day and I am off to work. Someone has to stock the shelves for people to buy stuff right?
Honey...be careful about this...your body will go into starvation mode. You aren't suppose to have under 20 points. Your points are based on your weight, so make sure you are eating the right amount of points for your weight. Cutting back points to lose faster will backfire. Your body in starvation mode will hang on to the fat instead of burning it. I have tried this....it does not work!
Sounds like the choices you are making are good, esp with your snacks. Go and check out the menu threads here...that might give you some ideas, too!
You can do this!!!!!

AnnaLee...Chelle is right. If you eat under 20 points your body will shut down the fat burning and hang on the weight like crazy. If you eat under 20 points you may lose a few pounds quickly but it doesn't take long for your body to figure it out and go into staravation mode. I tried eating under 25 points and all I got myself was a 4 week plateau and a weight gain!
Did you ever get your materials? There should be a page that lets you figure how many points you need to eat every day depending on how much weight you want to lose. It's so very important to follow the program exactly...eat your points...enjoy your extra points if you want them...exercise and drink your 6 glasses of water a day...at least.
