because it went TERRIBLE!!!!! I might as well face it. Anytime I start exercising, I gain weight. My "adopted son" who is a personal trainer told me it is the fat leaving and muscle appearing and muscle weighs more than fat. Apparently 2.8 lbs more than fat!!!!! Yes, you read that right. I had a gain of 2.8 lbs this past week.
The up side is....that I have dropped another size which means that I am losing inches which is what working out does. So I guess it isn't all that bad. Good thing though that we don't have to give back things, 'cause I'd be giving back my last star! This put me at a 19.4 loss instead of over 22!
Ok....now....what am I going to do about it?
1. Write down everything in my Quick Track! 2. Add walking as I can to my exercise 3. Don't let my BLT (bites, licks, and taste) happen 4. Stay away from the foods I splurge on unless they are exactly figured
Think that will help?
Ok...new day...new week...let's go lose that butter!!!!

Yay to you for having such a positive attitude and trying to plan a course of action!!!
So sorry that the weigh-in didn't go your way, BUT you'll take the right steps to work hard this week. DO NOT let the weigh-in discourage you. (I have to remind myself of this CONSTANTLY!)
Don't forget that other factors can contribute to a slight gain. You may be retaining water, that time of the month, or something high in sodium that kept you from losing fluids. AND the muscle gain and INCHES LOST is FANTASTIC!!!!
Stick to your strategy thisi week and I bet you'll see results at next weigh-in. Good luck and we're here for you!!
It's not really about the numbers in the end...it's about the LOOK BABY!!!! And you look fabulous!
I'll take muscle over fat anyday...so don't get discouraged. You're doing something great for yourself and you deserve a big pat on the back...and a big hug!
You know how sometimes a gain can spur us into action and lead to a big loss...you'll turn this into a plus! Hang in there! Love you, Colette

You guys the best!!!! I must admit I was more upset over the 0.8 gain a few weeks ago than this one.
I got on the scale this morning and had lost a lb to a lb and `1/2!!! And I splurged last night!!!! David thinks I am harboring too many points on weigh in day and my body is going into starvation mode which as we know can cause weigh gain.
Today I am even writing down my diet black cherry vanilla Coke!!! LOL

David asked me if I knew where my measurements were before I started WW. I did, so he suggested I take them again which I did this morning.
Boy was I surprised!!!!!
I lost 3 inches in my waist and 5 inches in my hips!!!!
I feel much much better!!!!
