I did lose a little. I was hoping to at least lost the 0.8 I gained last week, but only lost 0.6 of it. But it was a loss....so I'd better take it!
I was very sick yesterday morning with very high blood sugars....I'm talking almost 550. Considering I am suppose to stay between 60-120...that was WAAAAAYY too high! So I had to take a lot of insulin which can cause weight gain some, so maybe next week will be better.
I'm going to give it one more week and then I am going to try Core to try and jump start me. I'll probably just do it a couple of weeks and then go back to Points because they fit my life better.
So watch out Coe....I'll really be asking a ton of questions after that!!!!

Bring it on sweetie! Please don't get discouraged...your blood sugar has a HUGE effect on the way your body metabolizes...well...everything! They don't call it the "hunger hormone" for nothing!
So, just keep on keeping on and please keep that sugar under control. I worry about you, ya know?
I really think you'll find the Core program is easy. When I look at what I eat everyday and I look at how much a Flex meal is in points, I think...it's not worth it to me to switch. With a few simple modifications I can eat pretty much anything (remember...I still have those extra points ) and I can eat what I need to feel satisfied. For me, with my busy lifestyle and aversion to measuring things...Core is easier.
Now we're getting Cassi and her whole family on WW, and Reno wants to join too! We're gonna have the whole Soupbowl up here pretty soon!
Love ya honey, now hang in there...any loss is a good loss! Love you, Coe

Yeah! Now that I have the sugars under control I hope to do a lot better.
It turned out when I changed my pump site yesterday morning I must have got it in some scar tissue and it just wasn't absorbing. David ran home (he didn't want me driving! Thank God for a wonderful husband!!!!) and got me what I needed to change it again. It started coming down, but I felt lousy the rest of the day....and even today my energy level isn't back up to normal yet.
My next goal is 25 lbs. I've got the 21.6 so 3.4 to go!
I have got to be better about keeping my points and writing them down instead of trying to keep track of them in my head! I seem to forget and those add up. I am also trying to eat salads more with my meals. It fills me up better and I don't snack between as much.
We will see!

I know that you can do it honey...I'm glad your sugar is down. Did you hear that they are coming out with inhalable insulin this summer? It isn't for everyone, so I don't know if you could use it, but it might be an easy, non invasive alternative to your pump.
As for writting down your points..it really is the most important thing we can do. I do core so I don't have to write things down, just keep track of my extra points, but I do it anyway. I find that it's really helpful to get one of those $3.95 food diaries that they sell at the meetings. I keep track of what I've eaten for the day, my water intake, amt of veggies, oils and extra points. I have a horrible memory, so I'd be lost without my food diary. Any spiral notebook would work, but I really like the WW ones. If you can't get one at your meeting, let me know and I'd be happy to send you one!
Stay well and hang in there...we'll do it together! Love ya honey, Coe
