Only 1.4 off this week. I think I sweated off that much walking last week. This week we added weight machines, alternating days with legs (4 machines) and arms (3 machines) along with 2 stomach crunch machines and 25 minutes of walking. YUCK. I really don't like sweating and smelling like a barn animal every day. And most days as soon as we're done my daughter wants to go to a sit-down restaurant for lunch.
she is really good at pushing me at not listening to my whining. my older daughter is too much like me - a "girly-girl". this one should be a marine!
Kim...hang in there! Think of that weight as about 5 sticks of butter off of your body...that's actually alot! Think of stuffing 5 sticks of butter into the waist band of your pants , and think of how much more comfortable you are without it!
Your daughter does sound like a Marine...she'd make a great drill instructor (I grew up with one...I know! )
Keep it up...and please don't get discouraged. You are an inspiration to me girl...you are gonna look great!
Have a wonderful week...Love, Colette

Just a thought....our adopted son is a personal trainer and he has told me that when you start exercising, esp. adding weights, you can gain some. I do it every time! You are still getting the fat off, but you are strenghtening your muscles and muscle weighs more that fat...plus you look better. You can wear a smaller size even if you weigh the same in a larger size if you have worked those muscles. That may be part of my reason since I have started doing Pilates the last few weeks. My leader (who is also a dear friend of mine) has told me the same thing.....so keep up the great work!!!!
