She has a blood clot in her leg and a tumor the size of a volleyball in her stomach (or in that vacinity). They have her on heparin to thin the blood and get rid of the clot. As soon as that is gone, they will do a complete hysterectomy and remove the tumor. The doc doesn't seem to think it is malignant.
I know she would appreciate any prayers. I hope to talk to her soon, if I can get ahold of her. I'll try to keep you updated.

Colette called me and asked for all her sisters prayers ...
She has 2 very large tumors in her stomach area that are cancerous that the doctors feel came from the colon, so a strong possibility of colon cancer. The cancer has also spread to her liver.
She goes in for surgery on Thursday, Jan 24th, to remove as much of the tumors as possible. The only thing they can do for the liver is chemo.
Please keep her, her doctors and Sammy in your prayers.

I called her cell, but only got her voicemail. Cassi and some of her other buddies have also left messages for her on there. The surgery was today at 11. I willtry to update you Meredith (as well as anyone else who may be reading this) when Iknow something.

Cassi talked to her best friend a little before 4 and this is what the best friend said......
"Coe is still in surgery, but here's what they know as of now: Stage 4 colon cancer ~ prognosis 1-5 years. The cancer apparently started in the colon and spread to her liver and remaining ovary. That was the growth on her ovary.
She will remain in the hospital for apx. 10 more days, then go home to recover. She could start chemo in about 4-6 weeks."

Cassi talked to her yesterday. Here is what she said....
I called and talked with her yesterday. She sounded good and very much at peace. She said that it's ok if she gets to go "home" early and that her sister will take good care of Sammy. She said she believes that her God can still do miracles, but if He chooses not to,then she's ok with going home early ...

Hi everyone. I got home from the hospital late Monday evening. I'm kinda weak and sleep alot. sorry I havn't been up here sooner.
Thank you all for your prayers, I need them. The cancer has spread and I will start chemo in a few weeks, need to get my strenght back from surgury.
Please keep praying, especially for Sam, who is scared.
