Add a Signature

1. Access your Profile by Clicking on User Details
2. Click on Signature (left side of window under Profile) - your signature box will pop up
3. Copy and paste the [IMG] code from your web storage site (ie: photobucket) into the box
4. If you want text in your signature, then just type what you want it to say
5. Click on Save Signature
6. You're donebiggrin

The above directions are for using Internet Explorer and/or Firefox.

On Firefox, another way to do it is this:

1. Copy the URL code from your web storage site (ie: photobucket)
2. Click on the Insert/Edit Image button in the toolbar of your sig box (it looks like a picture of a tree) - a small window will pop up
3. Paste the URL code into Image Url line of that box
4. Click on Insert
5. Click on Save Signature
6. You're donebiggrin

Later, I'll post how to use an Image Rotator that can be used in your posts, signature and/or avatar.

POST PICTURES & IMAGES

You have to have an online storage site for your photos/sigs, such as Photobucket.
I'm assuming everyone knows about photo storage sites and most of us have one, so I'll skip the instructions how to create an account with one and just go on to posting pictures and sigs in their posts here on the forum.

1. Find the picture you want to post
2. Click on the IMG code (the one in [IMG]
3. Copy
4. Paste the IMG code in your post
5. After you Submit Post, your pic/sig should be there.

~ OR ~
Another way to do it ...

1. Find the picture you want to post
2. Click on the URL link
3. Copy
4. In the toolbar in your reply box, there's a button that looks like a tree. That's your Insert/Edit Image button ... click on it. A window will pop up
5. Paste your URL code in the Image URL space
6. Click on Insert
7. Your picture/sig should now be in your post.
8. Finish posting and submit as usual biggrin.gif

Make a web addy clickable:

url=put the web addy here]Give it a name[/url] --- put a [ at the beginning of url=
ie: Alfabet Soup Message Board

~ OR ~

1. Type the text you want linked ie: Alfabetsoup
2. Highlight the text
3. Click on the Insert/Edit Link button (looks like a chain link) - a box will pop up
4. Type in the URL link (www. addy)
5. Pick your other options in the window
6. Click Insert
7. Your text is now linked ...

You can do the same if you want to link a pic or sig biggrin.gif
