What's your motivation, baby? If you're struggling through your workouts, and calorie counting has got you down, try to stay focused on your primary motivators. What's pushing you to lose weight? Is it the thought of wearing a bikini in public for the first time? Do you want to pass the stress test next time you see your doctor? Here's what one of our online members is striving for:

"I'm a 68-year-old great-grandma of three, and I want to get in shape to play with those little ones. I've tried it all — workout tapes and DVDs, the big ball, weights, bands, the Pilates magic circle — you name it, it's somewhere in my house. I've also always had problems with motivation, but this time I feel different. I really want to build some muscle, and I really need it. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and doing this plan.

My goal is to reach 140 pounds, but I've been very inactive for years. Still, I'm going to give it my best. Wish me luck on my new lifestyle! At my age, it's like being the turtle. But didn't the turtle win the race?"
