HELP!!!

I can't stop!
This is really embarrassing (sp?) to admit and I hate doing it, but how else am I going to be held accountable?!

I just grabbed the Cheetos and scarfed down a couple of handfuls of them, then moved on to Chips Ahoy (100 cal pack) ... and then another one! WHAT IS MY PROBLEM??? I am going to down a bunch of water ....

The only problem I seem to have had, was that I didn't want another ham/turkey sandwich and nothing else sounded good. I ALMOST drove to Mickey D's ... THAT probably would have been better than what I did. At least I would have gotten some protein and veggies along with all the fat. But I saw those Cheetos and I was off ....

They are going in the trash right now! Then they won't be there for next time!

I feel better -- I guess I just needed to admit it to someone. I will admit, I thought at one point "No one has to know" -- but isn't that how this whole thing started way back when to put us where we are today?

Ok ... I think I'm ok ... any suggestions for next time??  How about some ideas for lunches besides ham/turkey sandwiches and/or soup???

Thanks for letting me ramble ...

Why does lunch have to be soup and Sandwiches? Mix it up a bit with Scrambled Eggs with reduced fat (good) or fat free (better) cheese and fat free ham.  or the best thing is Egg beaters with the ham and cheese or Southwestern style.   When I get hunger pains, I have a bowl of special K cereal or dried fruit, I Have my own dehydrator so when fruit is on special I stock up and dehydrate it.  We all have binges. it's just how you react to them and bounce back from them that is different.

I do love baked potatoes with some "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" spray and a little lite sour cream! Never tried it with salsa ...

Thanks for the idea!

Keep 'em comin'!!!

I dont know if you are home by yourself but why not pick up some smart One's or Heathy Choice Entree's? There are good sales on them if you look around and good coupons too.

First of all....don't beat yourself up!!!  We all "splurge" and hate ourselves afterwards.  Variety is a HUGE help.  And to be honest....when I am REALLY craving something....that's where my extra weekly pts kick in.

I KNOW it is hard!!!  Remember where I work.  The candy and chip aisle is right in front of the register!!!!!   I've learned to keep carrots, cucumbers, my mini bags popcorn, etc at work.  I also try to keep snack bags with Fiber One cereal in them at work.  1/2 cup is 0 pts....1 cup 1 pt.

But sometimes......

You admitted it.  Took responsiblity and got back on the program!!!  You are doing good.  Don't let this give you an excuse to say oh well blew it today/this week.  It is easy to do.

You CAN do this!!!!  We are here for you!!!    Love you!

Cassi...honey I'm so proud of you for not hiding this. It's so easy to be a secret eater..but we know that nothing is really a secret...the results cry out at everyone at the scale, on our thighs..lol...you get the idea.

But, you took responsibility and that's fantastic. We all have these moments...and I'd like to tell you that they get easier...but it doesn't. As my leader says "Put on your big girl panties and just do it!"

There are lots of great things to have for lunch other than a sandwich. I like to have leftovers from whatever WW recipe I made the night before...or freeze leftovers and just heat them up when you get sick of sandwiches.

I also like to make a nice fritatta (if you like eggs) and keep it in the fridge. It makes a great snack and the protein really satisfies your hunger.

Try making other soups. There are so many fabulous soup recipes on this site...my favorites are Tamale Soup, Coe's Core Chili and 0 point Vegetable soup. Try making one of those chiken pita pizza's I made today...awesome! Have some whole grain spaghetti with 1/2 cup of bottles spaghetti sauce...I like mine with light bread made into garlic toast.

There's always a nice chicken salad (like mine with pineapple and grapes), crustless pumpkin pie, tuna. These are all things I enjoy for lunch.

You did right by tossing out the cheetos. If I can't handle it...It doesn't come into my house. That's one reason I'm so glad that Larry is moving out...my temptation factor will decrease enormously after he moves!

You're going to do fine. We're here to help you...and believe me...WE'VE ALL DONE IT! Now you're an official member of the WW club!

Love ya girl...hang in there. Remember..."NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS THIN FEELS! Talk to ya tomrrow. Colette

Thank you girls, for all your support and suggestions!
I'm feeling much better today -- I've already been on the treadmill this morning too!
I Started Moving Again!
I'm Moving More

We did go out to eat at Culver's last night. Time really got away from us! LilMs had to go to the doctor's -- ear pains and she needed a tetnus booster and a physical for school. We went to an Immediate Care type place -- what a joke. After an hour or more there, they sent us to another doc (who we want to be herr primary) and were there about an hour or more. We were supposed to be at the neighbor's around 3:30 but didn't get there until 5. LilMs had a dress fitting. They are fixing up a dress for her to wear to the Sweetheart Dance on Saturday. We didn't get done there until about 6 or after when Kenny knocked on the door asking if it was time to eat yet! LOL

One thing I posted somewhere else- not sure where, but I found out from my WW leader that you can count a real potato as a veggie!!! That will really help! So thanks Annalee for the suggestion of a baked tater for lunch!

Thanks again you guys! I really appreciate it! I have to say, it was really hard to get on here and post it AND tell my family! But no secrets, right?!

Sometimes we tend to become creatures of habit. And it seems that when we do that is when we find oursleves looking for more because we start to feel deprived. I myslef am very much a creature of habit I have a ham sandwich every day for lunch. Sometimes i do get tired of it and will make a grilled cheese, or french toast with light bread and sugar free syrup. Except for weigh in day, my sister and I always go for pizza at papa ginos and split the 2 piece meal. And we both need that , it's our little treat to ourselves.
I try to only have 1 point snacks after lunch so I can have more at supper and feel satisfied and still have enough to have a few snacks at night. My favorite 1 point snacks are popcorn because it last a long time to eat it, also fat free pringles, yogurt, sugar free pudding.and every night after supper I sit and have my rice krispie treat, ( which never last long enough) and every night I look at that box and say I could eat the whole thing, but then I say not tonight..... thinnner is better.
Don't beat yourself for going off track a little bit. We are all human and it happens to all of us.Lord knows i went off last night big time, but today is a different day and I was good. I try to make sure I more good days than I do bad .And if you do have a bad one you need to learn to forgive yourself and get back on track again.
Good luck, take one day at a time.

Thanks for the encouragement and support you guys!
It really means alot to know that others have been there done, that and have the t-shirt to prove it ... and are still on goal!

(((((Skinny Cook ladies)))))

I have done better this week, but LilMs and DH had a rough time with it, but they are working their way through it.

LilMs got her doc's approval with a weight goal on it, so she will officially be a WW member as of tomorrow (Tuesday) night!

Thanks again!
(((((HUGS)))))
