Teddy's Tostado Casserole 6 pts

Here's the original recipe for Teddy's Tostado Casserole. I revamped it just a smidge, ran it through the recipe builder and that recipe follows ...

Teddy's Tostado Casserole

1 pound ground beef
15 ounce can (2 cups) tomato sauce
1 envelope taco seasoning mix
2-1/2 cups corn chips
15-1/2-ounce can refried beans
2 ounces (1/2 cup) shredded cheddar cheese

In skillet, brown ground beef. Add  1-1/2 cups of tomato sauce and seasoning mix stirring to mix well.

Line bottom of 11x8x2-inch baking dish with 2 cups corn chips. Crush remaining corn chips, set aside.

Spoon meat mixture over corn chips in baking dish. Combine remaining tomato sauce and refried beans; spread over meat mixture.

Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with shredded cheese and crushed corn chips. Bake 5 minutes more.
