I have a qusetion type thing...


       I should have about 168 points a week, and I had 160.25, so I was missing 7.75 points.  I don't think thats bad.  Although I do feel like I've gained weight instead of loosing!!! I have been following this pretty  exact, so I dont know what's going on.

My point goal is 24.
Here's my points for each day that I had:
Sun. 22.5
Mon. 24
Tues. 20
Wed. 21.25
Thur. 23.25
Fri. 25.25
Sat. 24

      I guess I'll try harder next week.  I have one more week to get into a 5/6 before my $10 off of a $25 coupon runs out!!! And I want to be able to use it, and I want to be in a 5/6!!! So, yeah.

Any suggestions to help me loose weight faster??

Anything would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi Li'lMs! There are a couple of things that you need to remember about the program...

1. You have to be sure to stick to the program exactly! If you're not eating all of your fruits/veg, milk/dairy, oils...and following the good health guidlines you probably aren't going to lose that much. The program is very scientific and balanced to work best when all the guidelines are followed.

2. You were eating cereal twice a day and that's not recommended. The cereal is good for you but it's high in carbs so it affects your insulin level which makes losing weight harder. Cereal bars count too, so be careful. Choose fresh fruit for snacks instead and keep the processed foods to a minimum.

3. Be sure to weigh or measure your foods exactly.

4. Exercise. You can go to the WW website and use the activity points calculator to see how much your exercise counts for. You can
use your activity points as extra food points or you can just leave them alone. If you don't use them on the same day that you earn them, you lose them though...no carrying over from day to day or week to weekl

5. Be sure to drink your water! This is one of the most important things you can do. If you don't drink water, then your body will make it's own and that adds up to bloat and water weight.

6. Eat at least 20 points per day. You'd be suprised that you can actually stop losing weight if you cut back too far on your points. Try to eat your whole 24 points per day....the program is designed to give you the exact amount of points you need. You can sabotauge yourself by eating under your points.

7. Eat whole grains and as few processed foods as possible. If you are doing the Core program, be sure to only eat bread OR brown rice OR potatoes ONCE a day! On Core you must use some of your extra weekly points (35) for bread

8. If you really want to lose more weight, cut out diet soda. For some reason, eventhough diet soda is 0 pts, it can keep you from losing weight.

9. Dont let yourself get too hungry! Watch your comfort zone and try to stay in the safe zone. This is the key to losing weight consistanly.

10. One thing that I've found that helps me is this...don't eat before going to bed. Weight Watchers leaves this up to you....but I've found that if I go to bed without eating a snack I tend to lose weight the next morning.

11. Remember...we're girls. That whole monthly water weight thing really does affect us. In the week before AF's visit, I can gain 5 lbs...and it disappears after she's gone. Don't get discouraged. If you follow the program exactly you can't NOT lose weight.

12..Most importantly...IF YOU BITE IT...YOU WRITE IT!!! You must journal every single thing that you put in your mouth! I can't stress this enough....it's the key to the whole thing! Keep a food journal and keep an accurate tally of your daily points, weekly points and activity pointsl
This is a program that is a lifestyle...it takes time but if you follow it and don't give up you will reach your goal.

Thank you very much cozy!!!  It is very much appreciated!! I going to try my hardest to stick to this to the exact!!  I am sooo excited to loose weight if this really works!!!  Thanks again for all your advice!! If you noticed today I have everything I need in a day and I have all my points!! So now I just have to do what it says and I'll be on a roll!! Soon me and you are going to look like HOT babe's togetha aren't we!?! LOL!
