Today, I didn't even add the coolwhip and just sliced the apples and the kids dunked their slices into it.  I got the recipe from the local orchard here.  Their cider is very very very good.

OK...here's what I see.

You are short on your milk. FF cheese does not count as a dairy because it doesn't have enough protein/calcium...sorry. I know it's hard to fit in all the requirements when you only have 22 points, but milk is a necessity. It helps our bodies burn fat better. Also, cottage cheese won't even count as a milk...so be sure to read those labels. I'm a ff cheese freak...I eat it at least twice a day and it's so unfair that it doesn't count!

Also, I didn't see any healthy oils. I HATE having to use precious points on something silly like oil, but it's also important. Our bodies need it, and especially our hearts. I don't understand how they figured this stuff out, but the WW scientists have the program perfectly balanced. If we omit one requirement our bodies won't burn fat the way the program is desinged to burn it.

You might try just drizzling a little olive oil into your soups or over salads. If you make a recipe with healthy oil just divide the number of teaspoons of oil by the number of servings to see how many you're getting (i.e...2 Tablespoons of oil in a recipe that serves 6 will give you 1 tsp of healthy oil).

Also, (and I'm not sure on this...can't find the answer) are refried beans considered a protein or a veggie? I count salsa as a veggie because it's tomatoes and peppers...so that's good.

I'll have to try your beans and chips for a lunch sometimes...sounds awesome!

Have a good day honey...love you. Coe
