I am not supposed to post this I Guess


This is the third time trying.


 


I lost 2 more pounds last week. I know I need to update my ticker and that is my next stop on the www. My goal this week is to stop drinking so much soda.  With the heat, it's creeped up to 6+ cans a day and it's expensive even though I only buy it on sale, Under 5 dollars for a 24 pack of 3/9 for 12 packs. If I Can cut out that caffine, Think of the savings in money. I drink 10 dollars a week or more just in Soda.


My other goal is to exercise for a full hour 3 times this week. It's going to be hard with my sister here but I can make time to watch  Guiding light, there is nother wrong with watching GL and doing my reisistance bands and ball exercises while watching. I can't push carts this week but I can do my leg exercises.

You know, I read on one of the WW mesage boards that the aspartame in diet soda actually keeps you from losing weight! There is something in it that makes your body hang onto the fat.

You might try the little packets of flavoring that you put in your water bottle. I use the WalMart version (it's by the Crystal light and Kool Ade), and it's good! It's made with Splenda which doesn't seem to have the same problem as aspartame. Just an idea. I like water and I don't really care for soda, but these are good and come in flavors like lemonade and raspberry iced tea. It's nice, because you can take the little packets in your purse and just add it to a bottle of water and shake it up. I keep some of the raspberry tea packets in my desk at work and one in my purse. Very convenient if you want something sweet to drink and since they don't contain caffeine (the tea is decaffinated) it counts as a water!

You may also look for flavored waters...our Hy Vee food store has one that is 0 calorie, 0 fat...and tastes great. I like the Key Lime flavor but there are alot of flavored waters out there. Some of them taste like soda, but count as water...bonus!
