8/1/2006 Tuesday....a new month!


*The first day of August...and boy is it hot here in TN!!!  I have book club tonight, so will be spending the day trying to finish my 448 pg book (I'm on 126! I got a late start on this one!) while waiting on customers!    At least most of them are band camp kids and they will be busy certain times of the day.
Watching it today as tomorrow is weigh-in..and I haven't done as well as I should have this weekend. 



Daily Point Total = 22


Morning: 
All Bran Oatmeal Raisin bar = 2 pts
Chai tea with 1/2 cup fat free mil = 1 pt


Used = 3 pts    Left = 19


Afternoon: 
2 Hebrew National 97% fat free hot dogs = 2 pts
Sourkraut = 0 pts
Cucumber = 0 pts
Popcorn = 1 pt
1/2 bar of Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate = 2 pts (my new vice!)


Used = 5 pts     Left = 14 pts


Evening: 
Subway 6" oven roasted chicken sub no cheese with veggies = 6pts
Light Doritos = 2 pts


Used = 8 pts    Left = 6 pts


Snacks: 
Popcorn = 2 pts (eating it twice)
Ice cream sandwich = 2 pts


Used = 4 pts   Left = 2 pts

Hubby conficated my Getting started book, He is trying weight watchers as well.


 


2 AM Lunch,  1 cup grapes,  4 HUGE strawberries, 2 string cheese


4 AM Break 1 oz cashews, water (I read in last months' RD that nuts keep you full)


10 AM 1 serving of captian crunch with 1/2 cup skim milk


Lunch: (after Zach's Dr's appointment, He has to get some warts burned off his thumb, He can't bent it and we have tried the Compound W Freeze Off twice and they don't go away)


Turkey Roll up, carrot chips


Dinner: Something with Hamburger that is all I know right now.

Morning ladies! Today is so hot that I think I will forget my walk...it's supposed to be over 100 and I'm not up for that. I'm fighting a cold, so the good news is that I have no appetite and nothing has any flavor to it...hey..., maybe I can just go around trying to catch colds and get to goal faster... Maybe not... Tomorrow is weigh in day, so I'm being extra special good Have a wonderful day! Love, Colette

PS: I read that protein helps you lose weight faster and that adding egg white to your diet (1 egg white is 0 points) will help. That explains the egg whites, I'm putting them in my smoothies.
