An easy and pretty way to drizzle the glaze: Dip a fork in and let the glaze run off the tines.
10 oz frozen pizza crust dough, at room temperature 1/3 cup canned fruit pie filling, cherry 1/2 tsp unsalted butter 1/4 cup powdered sugar 1 1/2 Tbsp 1% low-fat milk
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 425°F; spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. 2. On a lightly floured work surface, unroll the dough. With your hands, press it into a square; cut into 4 squares. Place 2 tablespoons of the pie filling in the center of the dough; fold into triangles on the diagonal and press the edges with a fork to seal. Place the turnovers on the baking sheet; brush with the butter. Bake until golden brown, 10-12 minutes. Cool slightly on a wire rack. 3. In a small bowl, whisk the confectioners' sugar and milk until smooth. Brush or drizzle the glaze over the turnovers; serve warm.
