Well, I know I've been MIA for a while and I'm sorry for that! I've been doing terribly on the diet and haven't gotten back into the swing......BUT today I found out that.........

I'M PREGNANT!!!!!!!!

I am so excited....I can't stop smiling!!

Tell me....did I read somewhere that if you were pregnant you couldn't be a WW member? I really need to find this out soon. I sure hope all of you have been doing well. Talk to you all soon!

First of all ...

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR GREAT NEWS!!!!

And I found this info for you ... www.babyfit.com. The setup is very similar if you're used to using WW online so it's an easy transition.

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!

I am sooooo excited for you!!!!  Is this your first?  How far along are you?

Yes, it does state in the guidelines that they do not recommend doing WW while pregnant...but you can while nursing.  If I were you, I'd just tell my dr that you have been doing WW and doing very well on it.  What is best now that the little blessing is on its way?

But please .... if you do have to stop WW for the time being....please keep us updated on how things are going!  We will miss you greatly if you disappear from here!

I am soooooo happy for you!!!!!!

What great news! Even if you don't do the program...you can still hang out with us ya know! We will miss you so much if you leave us...and know that the program and WE are here for you when you have the baby and get back in the swing of things!

Maybe this is part of the reason behind your gain a couple of weeks ago...and what a great reason! I can't think of a better one!

Congratulations honey...I'm so happy for you all. I bet you can't stop smiling! Now your daughter will be a big sister...how cool is that? (I'm a big sister and it's the BEST!)

Take care and I sure hope you'll post some pictures for us of the new little one...and keep us updated.

Love you...Colette

Thanks so much gals for all your kind words! I think the shock is wearing off....a bit, lol. Cassi, thanks for the link to babyfit.com.... I think I'll find it very helpful...I registered today! My first doctor appt will be this Thursday so we'll know more then. Chelle, this will be our second. We have a five year old daughter whose been asking for a brother or sister for over a year now!! We decided not to tell her yet until after the dr appt. Just to be sure everything's okay. It would be rough having to explain any difficults. Just thinking of her and trying to be smart. I CAN'T WAIT to tell her though. I'll hold out till Thursday!!

I plan on asking my doctor about WW, but how should I handle the meetings? Go and talk to my leader, or just withdraw or what? Not sure about that. I surely haven't lost so a weigh-in would not be my goal for the next meeting, should attend, lol. Just not sure how I should leave WW if it's necessary for me to do that.

I don't want to leave you guys either. I still need to eat healthy and keep exercising!! I'm SOOOOO scared that I'll gain back every pound I've worked so hard to get off. I"m still overweight and I have to keep this in my control. I had some problems in my first pregnancy and need to take better care of myself this time. I NEED YOU GUYS!!!!!! I will try my best to keep coming in and sharing whatever diet I will be following...all after I see the doctor.

Love you ladies....it's gonna be a LONG 9 months I'm sure!! When I get the due date Thursday, I'll be sure to let you all know!! Thanks again for all the blessings and prayers you're sending our way. See you soon!

I'd just talk to my leader and tell her what the dr says.  If it is any encouragement, I was doing First Place ( a Christian weight loss program) when I found out DD #2 was on her way.  I did stop, becuase they did not reccommend it either, but I gained a lot less with her than I did with my first.  I gained 40 lbs with Christy and 18 with Andi Beth....of course I started a lot bigger (about 30 lbs) with Andi Beth, so they didn't want me gainning as much.  And it came off pretty good, too, after I had her....it was the 5-6 yrs afterwards that hurt me!  I kept eating as if I was nursing, but I wasn't...big difference!!!!    LOL

Something else for you....my Christy (the 11 yr old) came up to tell me something and saw your picture as I was reading your post.  "She's pretty!" she said.  I thought you'd like to hear that!!!

Love you!

awwww, how sweet!!! You tell Christy that Kassidy sends her a BIG thank you!!! It felt great to hear a compliment like that!

Also, thanks for the advice. I really have to be careful with this. With my first, I weighed about 10 or 15 lbs less when starting out. But I did not eat right OR exercise during that pregnancy. This one has to be MUCH different!

I'll let you all know how the dr. appt. goes tomorrow! Say a prayer for me that I'll like him and everything goes smoothly.

Thanks for being there ladies!

Okay....I finally got in here today. It's been a really busy day.

My doctor's appointment went SO WELL! Dr. Nobles was super nice and I was so pleased with how he talked to me and made me feel. He's in a practice with two others so they will be in rotation. I hope the others are a nice as him!

We did an ultra sound!!! I actually SAW the fluttering of my wee-little baby's heart beat today! I was SOOOO exciting. I was only sorry that Eric couldn't be there with me. He's been out of town since Tuesday and won't return until Sunday.

Sooooo, our estimated due date is.......DECEMBER 20th!!!
I am six weeks and one day today, lol.
Another Christmas baby!!! ;D
This really works out well with me graduation in December. I was please with that date!!!

I talked to Dr. Nobles about diet and exercise. He says that WW has an OBG plan...I didn't know that. BUT, he told me what he'd lke for me to eat. GET THIS.....2500 cals a day (don't get too grossed out Elle, hehe). And another jawdropper....about 120 oz of water DAILY! That's a lot, right??? Wow, I'll won't have time to do anything else but sit around and drink water all day, lol.

He told me that will be planning a C-section delivery considering Skylar's birth and her weight (9.5!!!) I wasn't too bothered by this except for the sudden flashbacks of my recovery. Not fun. But it's all worth it!

He told me to keep up the Curves and walking, but keep it low impact. I can handle that. After nearly a month of cheating and barely exercising...I had gained 10 lbs. I was NOT surprised. But he really drove home why I need to take care of myself and I'm really going to work hard at doing just that. WITH YOU GUYS HELPING ME EVERY STEP!!!!

WOW....I can't believe this is finally happening! shew!
*grinnin' ear to ear!*

Yeah! So, are you staying on Weight Watchers? That would be great. I didn't know that theyhad an OB plan...how cool. You'll have to share it with us if you go on it, I'd be interested in seeing what it's like...not that I plan on having any more!

Congratulations on seeing the baby's heart! Technology is so wonderful. I remember the sonograms I had of Sam...alot of them because we both had problems...I remember one where I could see his profile...I could actually see my baby's face before he was born. It was amazing!

I'm so excited for you! Hey...I had a C-section too (Sam was 10.5 lbs...my little moose-boy...lol). The recovery is rough but I have to believe it beats the tar out of labor and delivery...whew... don't think I could handle that!

You are going to do great and we're going to be here for you all the way! Take care of yourself and baby too...Love you, Colette

Thanks for all your kind words Colette!! I'm still smiling from ear to ear!

My dr. told me to stay on WW if I wanted to and look into the OB plan. I had really decided against it, but maybe I should try it. Guess I just need to go to a meeting and talk to my leader. I'm going out of town this weekend, so this will be two meetings in a row I have missed. I thought about checking on the website for this OB plan the doc mentioned. I was really surprised when he said that. It would be awkward to go to a meeting and they tell me the doc is wrong, lol. I might try to look more into that next. I'll be going until late Sunday.

You ladies have a wonderfull and blessed weekend!!

Oh Kassidy!!!!  I'm sooooooooo excited for you!!!!!  I love ultrasounds!!!!  They did quite a few on me with Andi Beth because of all the problems I had while pregnant with Christy.  With her I had pre-eclampsia (or toximia as some call it) and it came back after they delivered her.  I went in for 24 hr observation and ended up being there 9 days!  They took her early on the 2 second day.  She was discharged before I was.  The fact we have our Andi Beth is a miracle.

Both of my girls were C-sections!  They were also both done at 36 weeks (Christy for obvivious reasons and Andi Beth to avoid the problems I had before).  They were 6 lbs (Christy) and 7 lbs 6 oz (Andi).  Can you imagine how big they would have been 4 weeks later?!!!!

I am sooooo excited for you!!!!!  Babies are such a blessing!!!!  Pre-teens are another story!!!!!    I won't go in to that right now!!!!  Just say the "bug" that hit our house....must have brought me a young lady now!!!!
