Tailbone?

I have a lady here at work that has lost quite a bit of weight (from another program). She wanted to know if anyone I knew who was losing or had lost weight had problems with their tailbone hurting.  Her dr said that this happens sometimes.  I thought I'd ask here if you guys have ever heard of this?

Tailbone?? hmmmmm.

I do recall a woman at one of my meetings talking about how when she lost a lot of weight, places on her body started to ache and hurt that never did before. Her doctor, too, said it was normal. But the tailbone??? Wonder if she's doing any exercises that put a lot of pressure there. It would make sense if she was. After having lost a lot of weight, she wouldn't have near the cushioin there to soften the blow!!     hehe.

I never even thought of that! I've always been so well padded that the issue never came up! In fact, I'm not sure that I even HAVE a tailbone...!!!

I can imagine that might be a problem though. My dad was a truck driver and had to have the tip of his tailbone cut off (OUCH!!!) because it rubbed and made a cyst that was very painful. Hope this doesn't happen to her...poor dear.

Gee...as bad as it sounds...I really hope that I have this problem someday!

LOL!!!!  I know what you mean!!!!  The only "tailbone problem" I have is when my skinny girls sit on my lap at the wrong angle!!!!!
