Ok...I was VERY VERY bad!

We were really tired last night and decided just to pick up Taco Bell.  Now you can eat there on Flex.  I had left my WW stuff accidently at the store, so did not have my Dining Out Companion with me.

I knew the reg tacos were 4 pts so I got a couple of those.  I thought I'd just use a couple of my extra 35 pts.  I ordered the nachos.  I knew the supreme ones were 10 so I figured since those had all the meat, beans, and sour cream extra the reg should be about 1/2 of that.  I looked this morning....they are 8 pts!!!!!  I only had 9 pts left!!!!  I went over by 8 pts last night!!!!

And I will be at a conference this weekend!!!  I won't have any say so over what is served!

Oh boy!  Maybe I won't lost this week!

Don't beat yourself up! Can you take some safe snacks with you? I'm taking things to my sis's this weekend that I can eat...because I know they don't really have what I need to stay on program.

Pack some apples, tootsie rolls...light salad dressing in little containers or baggies. Maybe you can have chicken with the skin removed, lean meat...veggies. Fill up on the salad course...ask for butter and sour cream and sauces on the side if possible.

Mentally rehearse what you will do when certain food situations arise. If you don't want to storyboard the weekend challenges...then mentally do so. Think about taking the skin off the chicken...divide the meal served into half portions on your plate and only eat half. Skip dessert and if possible, opt for fruit. If meat is served with sauce...scrape it off...remove breading if possible. Drink LOTS of water before you eat...that will fill up your tummy and make you less likely to overeat. This weekend isn't about food...it's about fellowship. Fill up on time with your Lord and your friends!

You can do this...remember: "Failure to plan is planning to fail." You can come up with a strategy and stay on program...I know you can. If you don't...then forgive yourself and move on. We can and will (and ARE) doing this!

I love you sweetie. Have a wonderful time and don't stress! You will be in my thoughts and prayers this weekend. Love you, Coe

Thanks for the tips!!!

Normally on women's things they tend to stick more to the light type foods.  The men's tend to be steaks or something like that!    Also are pastor's wife just reached Lifetime status and she is in charge of this so I am hoping that she planned it that way!

Then of course I remembered this morning....my leader Sherri (who I am also good friends with) will be there and we will probably be hanging out together!!!    I guess I'll be good after all!!!!  LOL

so between her...and your tips....I'll be good!

Great advice Colette!! I know where I'm heading when I need some good tips!!

And Chelle, it looks like things might be a little more in your favor for being good this weekend. Someone up there must've known that...whatdaya think??? Good luck, and enjoy yourself.

You'll do great next week!!
