3/20/2006~Menu


I thought it might be fun to share our menus with eachother. Maybe we can pick up some tips or find new things we never thought of. Here's my menu for the day. My points target is 30...I'm trying to come in a little under every day.

Ok...I can do the breakfast and lunch, but I haven't done my grocery shopping yet (do that on Mondays ) so I have no idea for dinner yet...will do better tomorrow!!!


Exercise:
Pilates (DVD)


Morning:
Decaf Mint green tea 0pts (plus it counts as water...no caffine, so sugar)
Fiber One Honey Clusters cereal with 1/2 cup ff milk=3
6 inch banana=1 pt


Subtotal: 4 pts


Lunch:
Lean Cuisine Chicken Cesear Bowl=6 pts
2 pieces Lite bread=1 pt
Salad with ff Italian dressing=0pts


Subtotal: 7pts


Snacks:
1 mini bag popcorn=1 pt
1 small bag fruit snacks (the ones for kids....I had a low blood sugar)= 1pt
1 Tootsie Pop=1pt


Subtotal 3 pt


Truth be told I'll probably have 2 of those today!!!! LOL


So lets see....
Food pts value used: 14
Food pts value balance (-) over (+) under +8


But remember .... that is before dinner and my night time snack....which will be based on how many pts I use at dinner!!! And I may have a mid morning snack before lunch depending on if I get hungry or not! Or if these Tootsie Rolls keep calling my name!!!! (*edit note...as you can see I had to eat one of those tootsie pops!!!!  LOL )

I am a member on another board where I post my daily menus. It is such a big help for me. I'll try to remember to copy and paste and add it here, lol.

Here's what today looks like so far:


March 20 - First day of Spring!! (yucky tho)

Exercise:

Curves for 1 hour
Walked 2 miles w/ hw...in the rain, lol! I refused to let the weather screw me up on a Monday!! It would start my week off bad...NO CHANCE!

Breakfast:
WW muffin - 3 points
Fiber One cereal - 0 points
Skim milk 1/2 c - 1 point
small banana - 2 points
coffee, 1/4 c sm - .5 point
B'FAST TOTAL = 6.5 points

Lunch:
Roast beef sandwich-
2 pieces of whole wheat bread - 2 points
2 oz of lean deli RB - 2 points
1 tbsp of lite mayo - 1 point
Baked cheetos - 4 points
LUNCH TOTAL = 9 points

Snack:
small orange - 0 points
WW choc. cake (it's like three bites, ugh!) - 1 point
1 SF jolly rancher - .25 point (hehe)


I'm starting to get hungry!! About an hour before supper time!


Supper:


Salad w/ tomatos - 0 points
2 tbsp crutons - 1 point
2 tbsp lite Ranch dressing - 2 points
Progresso Soup
Steak and Roasted Russet Potatos - 5 points
SUPPER TOTAL - 8 points


Dessert:
1 LF gram cracker sheet - 1 point
1 SF choc. pudding cup - 1 point
Lite cool whip - 1 point
DESSERT TOTAL - 3 points


Water:
56 oz so far


TOTAL TODAY: 27.75
