Hi there

Thanks for welcoming new members. :)  I have been on many weight loss journeys but today was a new day right?   I love the board and will have to learn about weight watchers.

Welcome DBackFan, we're glad to have you! You aren't alone in your weight loss journey...there are alot of us out here that are struggling along the same road.

I've been on Weight Watchers (this time...have been on it a few times in my life) since Oct. 17, 2005. I have lost around 35 pounds, but I have a long, long way to go...my goal is to lose a total of 174 lbs!

Weight Watchers is probably the healthiest and most successful weight loss plan out there...and they really know their stuff. If you're interested in joining a meeting, now is a good time. They are offering free registration. If you'd just like to try to figure it out just ask any questions you have and we'll try to fill you in.

I hope you'll try some of our recipes. All recipes are calculated for accurate points values and fit into the WW program.

Thanks for joining...hope to see you here often! Blessings...Colette

Welcome to our group!  I've been on WW a couple of weeks long than Coe.  I can't remember the exact date and I left my thing at home...no one my bag was so lite this morning!

Anyway, I have been on it about 25 weeks and have lost around 22 lbs.  This last month has been a big struggle for me.  I am fortunate enough to have my dh on this with me.  He cannot go the meetings, but has been doing it right along with me.  He has lost 51 lbs!

Coe does a great job with the recipes here!  And she has found some great ones!  If you don't know where to start....go to the recipe reviews.  It is recipes we have tried and give a or .  It's a big help!

Hope you have a great time here! And remember what seems to be our mantra....you can do it!!!!!

Thanks you two.  HUGS.  I re joined Curves 2 days ago and decided low carb wasn't cutting it so I have been checking out the recipes for sure.  I get so busy...going to meetings is hard but I am going to find out about the core diet etc and join up with you all here!

Great! Core is easy for me...because I'm so busy and I hate to measure. I think I'm the only one here who does the Core program...the others do the Flex plan.

I really recommend joining WW...and right now it's free! If you just want the plan booklet (really a necessity...) you could join for free...get the booklet and then not go to meetings. I recommend the meetings though..they are a real lifeline and so much fun! There are usually meetings througout the day and evenings...and they only last about 30 minutes. You can skip the meeting and just weigh in if you like or don't have time.

In the meetings, our leader hands out great recipes each week plus she gives us tips and ideas on how to be successful on the program. It's up to you..and we're here to support you in whatever you decide! If you want to find a meeting near you just go to Weight Watchers.com and you can find one by typing in your zip code.

If you have any questions just private message me by clicking on my name..I'm up here several times a day. I'll find the answers if I don't know it.

Glad to have you...good for you for doing this for yourself! Blessings...Colette
