Have you tried these bars yet?


I tried something new for breakfast this morning.  They are the All Bran bars.  They are 2 pts and have 5g fiber in them.  So far I am doing well....not hungry....so we will see if they hold up until lunch.  I think they have 3 flavors.  I had the Oatmeal Raisin.


Also the Pria bars are a great snack bar....AND they help you get your milk in.  They have 30% calcium and you need 20% to count a milk.  They are 2 pts and I know of 4 flavors (we sell them here at our store) Peanut Butter Chocolate, Mint Chocolate, French Vanilla, and Double Chocolate.  They are made by PowerBar.  I have had the PowerBars, too, sometimes for breakfast...they have good fiber in them (I think 4 or 5g) but they are 4 pts.  I usually eat them when I am in a hurry, don't feel like eating, and know it will be awhile before I eat again.


Then my new favorite splurge!  Honey Bunches of Oat bars.  They have them in Banana Nut and Cranberry Almond!  Yum!!!  They are 3 pts but they are worth it!!!!  Plus they also have 30% calcium as well!

OOOOH...I'll have to try those! I did buy the chocolate mint cookie bars and chocolate caramel bars at meeting this morning. I was starving, because I hadn't eaten since about 5pm Tuesday and I wasn't about to eat before weigh in. So, I bought two boxes of the bars and ate a carmel one...it's really good, and not as small as I expected.

I love something sweet with my coffee at night, and it sounds like the all bran bar or the honey bunches of oats bars would be great! I love granola and things like that even more than I do candy bars. I usually allow 2-3 points for my after dinne snack, so the ones you suggested would work great!

Glad to be of assistance!!! 


I had the All Bran bar for breakfast this morning and yesterday morning.  It kept me pretty full yesterday until about lunch.  Now I was hungry by lunch, but not starving.  That will help me watch my points better.  In a few more lbs I have to drop 2 more pts, so trying to watch those better.
