Yeah! After two very slow weeks (last week I was at a complete STOP...lol...) I had a great loss today.

I lost....... -7.8 LBS!!!

I was only 2/10ths of a pound from my 10%! I WANT THAT KEY CHAIN!!!

So, I'm a very happy girl! I couldn't believe it, I thought I'd lost maybe 4 lbs...because I thought my new scale was lying to me when it said I'd lost that much. Guess not!

One of the goals that I set myself was to lose 30 lbs by the time I have my annual check up...to suprise my doctor. Since I'd lost about 10 lbs before I started WW, I've reached my goal and Dr. Suenram is going to be so happy. He wanted me to have my stomach stapled but my insurance doesn't cover it. Boy, will he be suprised! I now weigh 276.6...I havn't been this weight since my son was born...and he'll turn 9 next month!

So, now the challenge begins. I have to go out of town this weekend. Sam and I are going to my sister's on Friday (vac day and he's out of school). We won't be back until Monday. Sunday, after church, we're going to a German buffet restaurant. I've never had German food and I'm excited to try it, but something tells me that German cuisine isn't known for it's low cal/low fat fare.

Anyway, I'm hoarding my WPA to use this weekend. My sis lives directly across the street from a beautiful park with a lake and walking paths, so I'll just hit that every day. She and I have to get into shape for that trip to Paris! (My baby sis told me that she's taking me to Paris when I reach goal...for a trip like that I'd do just about anything! )
