Question

When my BF and I went shopping at Price Chopper I found chocolate Vitamuffins - When done on my points slider it was 1 point for one muffin (100 cal, 6 fiber, 1.5 fat).  I finally did a search last night for them and the etools said they are 1 point for 1/2 and item!  That doesn't make any sense to me!  I even used my scale and the muffins way 2 oz and that is what the box says is the serving size!  I guess I am just confused on that!  I have only seen the chocolate and maybe the other flavors are more?  Anyone tried this before?  Am I doing the points slider correctly?

I'm sure you're doing the points slider right. I have had this happen with many items. It can be very confusing and frustrating ...

When in discrepancy, I usually go by the nutritional info on the package using my points slider rather than etools. Since I have the package in front of me, I feel that's going to be more accurate.

That is what I did! And Can I add that for 1 point - they are awesome! I bopped it in the microwave so it was slightly warm, put a 1/4 of a cup of ff whipped topping on it and it was like a brownie sundae minus the ice cream! And it was only 1.5 points! :)

I agree with Cassi.  It is always better to go what is on the item.

I didn't know you could even buy those in the store.  I thought you had to go through the website.  Hungry Girl is real big on these.  She occationally has a discount for them if you order them online.

Hungry Girl

You can sign up for their free newsletter. She has a lot of great stuff! You can do a search and find all kinds of recipes. I think she archives all her newsletters.

Thank you! :) I haven't had a chance to check it out yet but will be soon! I sort of wish I had wireless internet so I can sit on the couch next to my man (and make him happy) while he is watching his fishing shows!
