Wednesday - Half way there!

Good Morning Everyone!

What a cold day it is!  Can't believe I am supposed to wake up to snow tomorrow morning!

Here is what I am eating today.  Tonight some girlfriends from work and I are heading to a local Italian resturant for a 50th birthday dinner and there menu is on-line.  So I am going to have a salad with light or fat free dressing and the Chicken Primavera light on the white wine sauce and hopefully they can make it with Angel Hair instead of Fettacuni but we'll see.  I also want to ask if they can ad extra veggies and cut down on the pasta.   This shouldn't be as bad as Sunday!

Good afternoon everyone!

I woke up to SNOW this morning. Yes! I said snow - in April! LOL

It's been raining and cold here all day ... a very dreary day.

Here's my menu for today ... and I'll be thinking of you tonight Meredith and sending prayers your way! Enjoy your dinner smile

Well, I didn't do too bad with dinner. I stuck pretty close to what I was planning on having. I asked for extra vegetables and light on the wine sauce. Below is what I "think" I had. I might be over on my pasta and my chicken but I figured I would rather guess high. I normally would have eaten everything on the plate but I had maybe 1/3 of the pasta and about 1/2 of the chicken tenderloins that were on the plate.

Evening
2 cups Tossed Salad, Without Dressing 0
1 1/2 item chicken breast, cooked, skinless 4
1/4 cup wine sauce 2
1 1/2 cup cooked pasta 5.5
1 cup cooked carrots with salt 0.5
1 cup cooked broccoli 0
1 cup cooked zucchini 0
1 Tbsp Balsamic vinegar 0
1/8 cup all-purpose flour 1
1 cup cooked cauliflower 0
1 slice Italian bread 2
3 large olive(s) 0.5
1 Tbsp olive oil 3.5
1/4 cup cooked tomato(es), with salt 0
Subtotal 19

I even only took home a serving of the pasta instead of all that was left so I didn't gorge on it tonight.

Thank you all for your words of encouragement through out the past couple of weeks. I don't think I could do this without you!

Good day ladies! I am so proud of myself....I had a good day. Now, I'm going to bed before I blow it! I did exercise today, but it was Greer Childers' Shapely Secrets 7 minute workout. I don't think I earned any points, but it must be working because MAN...AM I SORE! biggrinrofl Have a good one...love ya'll, Colette

That looks good Colette! One Day at a time!

How were those Encilada's? I haven't seen that one in the grocery store around me! I love Mexican food!
